Do Not Knock Registry Available
Posted on Oct 5th, 2017

Local residents are eligible to guard against unwanted door-to-door sales calls.
Cranberry has imposed limits on door-to-door sales solicitors for many years including the requirement that they be licensed by the Township police department, that they display their license when making calls, and that they limit their solicitations to certain defined hours.

Starting this fall, Cranberry is extending those protections to residents as well as to licensed solicitors by maintaining a Do Not Knock registry. Residents who sign up for it are put on a list, which is updated at the beginning of each week and distributed to licensed solicitors. It directs them not to approach the addresses on that list or risk having their license revoked and face possible trespassing charges. Starting December 31, 2018, a complete new list will be generated each year.

"Retire Old Glory"
Posted on Feb 20th, 2017
It's that time of year when we begin to fly our American Flag.  In case your flag is tattered or torn from the wind, Cranberry Township offices offers The "Retire Old Glory" bin which is located in the Cranberry Municipal Center next to the Township Office entrance, beneath the Veteran's Display Case.  This is a very respectful way to dispose of the American flag.

PETiquette 101
Posted on Jul 25th, 2016
Most of us can appreciate the value that a pet cat or dog can bring to a home. In most cases, they become a member of the family. Like the rest of us, they have rules to follow when living in the Clearbrook community. Please keep the following in mind:
  • Pets (cats or dogs) are not permitted to run at large.
  • Owners must have physical control of their pets when off property, whether by leash, chain, or cage.
  • Control should be sufficient enough to prevent the pet from entering another owner's property without permission.
  • Owners are responsible for immediately picking up the solid waste excreted by their pets and for disposing of it properly.
  • Pets are not permitted to be allowed to bark, howl, cry, whine or otherwise emit such noises day or night so as to disturb the peace of any person, neighborhood or family.
